Sydney is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and received her bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy from Indiana University Bloomington in 2015. She completed her internship in 2015 at Craig Hospital, an inpatient and outpatient SCI and TBI rehabilitation center, in Denver, Colorado.

She then began her clinical experience working at Craig on both Spinal Cord and Brain Injury teams, as well as developing their evening and weekend program and helping start their now successful adaptive gaming program.

After 5 years, Sydney relocated back home to Lafayette, Indiana, where she was introduced to the Medicaid waiver program. She has been working in the home and community setting for the past 4 years.
